Went to update app and now it wont load. Where are photos?

i m using this free app since 1year.in a word i can express for this app is "awesome" yesterday it require update but when i try to be updated,it does not.for that i lost my many photos.now what can i do???

I performed a simple test. I imported photos from Camera Roll, then exported back into the Camera Roll. The metadata (gps coordinates, IPTC tags etc) of the exported copies were gone. Photos were also resized to a lower quality. Exported/imported photos should be exactly the same with no compromises. Until the developer fixes this, I will not use this app.

Instead of having some hide away pretend program, very simply have a photo lock program. This works perfect as a photo safe. Im not looking for fancy things, just a spot so no one can freely look at photos. Perfect.

It agood and save to use

Do not get this app. You will lose your photos forever like me. I imported my photos on here then deleted them from my camera roll. When I went back to the app, they were gone. They were not on the app. This makes me extremely upset because I just lost so many memories that I cant get back. Thanks for nothing photo tank.

Was a great app

At first, this app was very promising. Until I forgot my password. You would think it would offer a password recovery option.. But sadly it does not. Stupid to say the least..

I wish their was a option to have it saved and backed up with email I lose my info once with all my photos..but now I have to try and save my photos else where its amazing but the email thing would be nice

Storage was great but I lost ALL my photos during a phone upgrade and a cloud issue. I have emailed tech support at PhotoTank on multiple occasions for assistance in possibly retrieving my photos stored in their application but cannot get so much as a simple response. Whats the point of having this service and email address on your app if you cant get help? I recommend researching some of the competitor apps and reviews before trusting years of pics to this one.

Worth getting for sure.. i lost my phone though and now I’m afraid i’ll never get back the pictures I saved on the app. Company should make a computer version (if they don’t have it already) so you can save password protected pictures in multiple places

Company will not respond to my emails and I forgot my password and lost tons of pictures. They really need to work on this and help everyone recover their photos.
